Sylvester St. stabbing leaves one man in the hospital

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — A man is in the hospital after he was stabbed more than once in the city early Friday morning.

According to the Rochester Police Department, they responded to Sylvester Street and Portland Avenue for a reported stabbing. They found the 48-year-old victim with stab wounds.

The man was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital and is being treated for his injuries. He is expected to survive.

Officers said there are no suspects in custody and are asking anyone with information to call 911.
