RPD: Store employee shot on South Plymouth Avenue

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — A man was hospitalized after a shooting in Rochester Friday night.

Officers were called to the area at the corner of South Plymouth Avenue and Columbia Avenue around 8:30 p.m. They found a 28-year-old store employee who had been shot at least once. He was hospitalized with what police said were not life-threatening injuries.

The shooting is under investigation. Anyone with information is asked to call 911.

Police said the area around the scene would remain closed into Friday night for the investigation.
