Celebration of life announced for Greece teacher who died in accident

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Funeral services have been announced for Jillian Branciforte, a teacher of the Greece Central School District who passed away.

Branciforte passed away from an accident that happened on Friday, according to the district. No further details have been released about what accident this was.

A celebration of life and visitation has been planned for Wednesday, September 11. Anyone in the community looking to give flowers is asked to make memorial donations to Greece Olympia High School or St. John Fisher.

Branciforte was an English and new language teacher at Greece Olympia. Many students told News 8 about how special she was. The students came together to hold a private vigil over the weekend.

Visitation will be held at Bartolomeo & Perotto Funeral Home on Vintage Lane from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
