Victim found dead in Orleans County house fire

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — One person was found dead in an Orleans County fire early Monday morning.

According to the Orleans County Sheriff’s Office, the fire happened in the Town of Carlton. Fire crews found a house trailer, two sheds, and two vehicles burning.

Crews found the individual dead inside the home. The body has been taken to the Monroe County Medical Examiner’s Office. The identity and details about the victim have not been revealed.

Deputies and firefighters are working to figure out what caused the fire. Anyone with information is adked to call (585)-589-5527.
