ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Camp Good Days, along with two local school football teams are gearing up for a special game which has grown into a longtime tradition.

The organization, which supports children and families affected by cancer and sickle cell anemia, announced its annual Teddi Bowl.

It’s a charity football game between Victor and Canandaigua high schools, where all proceeds go to benefit Camp Good Days . It also gives some of their campers a special opportunity, they get to play a big role in the game.

“Having a chance for our campers to be honorary cheerleaders and coaches and to have the experience to know what it’s like to be in a Friday night football game in front of a large crowd is just something they are going to remember forever,” Victor schools athletic director Duey Weimer said. “Some of the kids, the alumni, when they come back this is the game they remember. They remember the kids, and they remember that opportunity they had to give back.”

The game starts at 7:00 p.m. Friday at Victor High School. Around 4,000 people are expected to attend. Click here to buy tickets.
