Flower City Comic Con returns this weekend

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Flower City Comic Con returns Friday to Rochester’s Total Sports Experience.

The annual event is back for its eighth year with the theme Experience FC3.

Setup began Thursday, with crews building the event space. With lots to do and see, including a multitude of local artists and vendors, organizers say their main goal is to bring an inclusive and fun experience for everyone.

“You can come and win prizes just by being in a costume,” Melanie Newton said. “You should be in a costume anyway, because it’s a lot more fun when you’re in a costume.”

Doors open at 6:00 p.m. Friday and 10:00 a.m. Saturday and Sunday. Parking is free.
