Motorcyclist killed in crash on Rt. 63 in Wayland

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — An 18-year-old motorcyclist died in a crash in the Town of Wayland, according to New York State Police.

On Thursday, troopers said the motorcyclist was driving his bike down Rt. 63 when it passed an uninvolved vehicle in a no-passing zone. The motorcyclist then collided with a Kia that was being driven northbound.

The motorcyclist was ejected from his bike and was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Kia was taken to UR Medicine Noyes Hospital for minor injuries. The motorcyclist’s name has not been revealed.

No charges have been issued.
