‘To the Core’ celebrating grand opening Saturday in Victor

VICTOR, N.Y. (WROC) — A new fitness studio is opening Saturday in Victor, at 300 High Street Extension: To the Core Lagree x Versa.

This is the second location they opened this year; their expanded Webster space opened in June.

They offer lagree and Versa claiming classes. Owner Erin Ferrente describes Lagree as “if Pilates and weightlifting had a love child.”

It’s another addition to the “wellness center” behind New York Beer Project, and Ferrente hopes to bring a community atmosphere here.

“The most rewarding part about is the community of clients that we’ve built,” Ferrente said. “Whether you’re coming into either studio, everyone is so welcoming and fun and excited… It’s a great environment to be in.”

The grand opening is Saturday 8 a.m. – 11 a.m., and features demo classes, parking lot games, drinks and more.

Right next door to Lagree, Lumos Infrared Studio is now open. The Victor location was formerly near the cobblestone house Starbucks.

The studio, which uses sauna and red light to help people and athletes recover, moved to an expanded location in the Culver Road Armory.

Owner Rachel Bantleman-Evans told News 8 on the phone Friday that the made the move to build out a cold plunge.
