ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Rochester police are looking for at least one suspect after the driver of a stolen car led officers on a chase Saturday evening.

According to police, around 5:30 p.m. officers saw a 2021 Acura that was recently reported stolen being driven in the area of Wadsworth Street. When officers attempted to pull the driver over, police said they took off and a pursuit ensued.

The Acura was later found abandoned on Lincoln Street after it struck a curb, causing it to malfunction and smoke.

No one was injured, and no other vehicles were involved. Police have yet to make an arrest and ask anyone with information to call 911.

They’ll only get a ticket anyway… meanwhile, the car owner has to pay for all the repairs.
