ROCHESTER, NY (WROC)- You know that great weekend weather we had? It’s still a thing. Just now on Monday.

This now runs Rochester’s rain-free streak to a full week. Given the pattern ahead, there’s a compelling argument we could have another week without wet weather ahead of us. This evening, high thin clouds will waft northward. This is in response to a weak tropical system across the Carolinas. This system will fling some elevated moisture out way, but the impact is likely limited to simply an increase in clouds cover than any wet weather.

We’ll filter our sunshine tomorrow and go with more of a mostly cloudy sky into Wednesday. It’s difficult to take rain chances any higher than 20% during this time. Wednesday’s increase in cloud cover probably trims our afternoon highs by a few degrees, but that’s likely the extent of the excitement. We’re back to sunshine later in the week with highs into the upper 70s to lower 80s.

Early indications suggest another quiet and warm weekend.
