    WHY ROC: The expansion for Edwards in Genesee County

    ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — For this GRE WHY ROC segment we’re looking at the huge growth and goals for Edwards in the Rochester region.

    The company recently held a ceremony to celebrate reaching key milestones with its expansion in Genesee County.

    Edwards doesn’t make semiconductor chips; rather, it makes the dry pumps necessary for chip fabrication.

    Business leaders say this move will create around 600 jobs in a $300 million investment for New York.
