ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — One of the men convicted of mail theft has been sentenced to probation.

According to the US Attorney’s Office, 21-year-old Legend Terrance Davis was sentenced to serve three years probation, which includes six months of home detention and 50 hours of community service.

In October 2023, police said Davis used a stolen USPS key to steal from mailboxes near the Brighton Station Post Office, Greece Post Office, and Jefferson Road Post Office. The key was stolen from a mail carrier.

Postal inspectors caught Davis and two others. Davis ran away with another suspect. He was arrested along with 23-year-old Nathan Romar Arnold. Additionally, 27-year-old Blake Montel Crayon was accused of being the getaway driver.

All three were charged with possession of a USPS key and theft of mail.
