Primetime 585 Shining Star: Kaylee Maas makes a splash

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — A 16-year-old from Our Lady of Mercy School i n Rochester has become quite the shining star.

Kaylee Maas is making waves on the varsity swim team – staying active year-round with the Webster BlueFins .

She’s been in the pool since she was 7 years old, specializing in freestyle, particularly in distance events. Her hard work and dedication have earned her pool records in two individual events and two relays – not to mention, she’s achieved multiple Sectional cut times.

Outside of the pool, Kaylee excels as an honors and AP student, maintaining an impressive 4.0 GPA. Her passion for learning is as strong as her commitment to swimming. She aspires to study medical sciences in college.
