Teen hospitalized after being shot on Rochester’s Ave. E

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — A 16-year-old boy from Rochester was hospitalized after being shot in the city Friday night. According to police, he was found shot on Avenue E just before 6 p.m.

It comes about an hour after another man was found shot in the city, though the scenes were not connected by police.

Officers said the teenager was taken to the hospital to be treated. He is expected to survive his injuries. Police said they believe the shooting may have happened as a result of an argument. It’s unclear if any arrests have been made in this case.

As the investigation continues, anyone with information is asked to call 911.
