ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — A popular clothing and lifestyle store on Park Avenue in Rochester is moving to Eastview Mall, Salty Boutique.

This is their last week open in this location, and are selling select displays and large items, and almost everything else at 20% off.

This boutique — which is the sister store of Peppermint on Culver Road — opened on Park Ave. six years ago.

Owner Tanvi Asher tells News 8 she’s making the move to expand their space and to have a more varied clientele.

Asher says the move will allow Salty to stock more upscale and specialty items, but assures her customers that the “flavor” of Salty will still be intact. She and her team is looking forward to meeting new customers, and welcoming back new ones.

“We’re excited and we’re happy to be seeing everybody who used to live here and shop with us, and when they had a family, they moved to Fairport or Victor,” she said. “We’re excited to see those customers over there now.”

Asher looks to open in the mall on November 1. Their location will be near the Madewell and Free People. Asher says all stores have a similar clientele, and expects the move to be good for all the businesses.

Smart to move further from the crime infested city and the wild animals that live there.
