ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) – Rochester police are looking for two people involved in a hit and run on Lake Avenue that left one woman injured Monday night.

According to Rochester police, two vehicles appeared to be racing northbound on Lake Avenue towards Phelps Ave when one of the racing vehicles struck another car that was pulling out of a Taco Bell.

RPD says the two occupants of the crashed racing vehicle all fled on foot, and the other racing vehicle also left the area.

The 21-year-old woman who was struck while pulling out of Taco Bell was transported to Rochester General Hospital where she was treated for minor injuries.

At this time police say the racing vehicle has not been reported as stolen.

RPD says they are following up on several leads and are asking anyone with information to call 911.
