Paychex donates school supplies

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Paychex delivered school supplies to Junior Achievement of Central Upstate New York Tuesday, part of donations by Paychex employees.

Last month, Paychex held the drive to collect donations to help Rochester City School District students taking part in JA programing. This was all in an effort to make sure students are prepared to succeed throughout the school year.

Donations included school supplies such as pens, pencils, notebooks, and facial tissues.

“We believe that education is key to a strong financial future and we’re really excited to host this school supply drive to benefit the students of the Rochester City School District who are served by the Junior Achievement, and we are so excited for the tremendous response that we’ve gotten from our employees,” Paychex Charitable Foundation Executive Director Lisa Fleming said.

Junior Achievement of Central Upstate New York has reached over 95 local schools and over 16,000 students in the 2023 to 2024 year.
