Students learn about careers at ‘Future Fair’

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Hundreds of local seventh-graders headed to Saint John Fisher University Friday to consider their options for the future.

The Future Fair was hosted by the Rochester Education Foundation. Over 70 representatives from all different career fields were in attendance, including politicians, business leaders, and educators. They spent time chatting with students about their work and future opportunities.

Organizers say events like these are a great chance to get younger kids excited about the future. It was a first-time event for the Rochester Education Foundation, but organizers say they hope to host more in the coming years.
