MCC hosts annual diversity conference

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Students and faculty at Monroe Community College gathered Friday for a discussion about diversity in higher education.

Along with a keynote address, participants engaged in a panel discussion to reflect on topics like belonging and community. Organizers said student success isn’t just about academic performance, but being able to connect with others.

The event started at 8:30 a.m. with a welcome breakfast and ended at 4:00 p.m. with safe zone training session.
