ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — A Rochester woman was arrested Thursday after investigators said she punched deputies during a traffic stop in Farmington.

According to the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office, deputies pulled over Marjerlie Espada-Rodriguez around 4:00 p.m. on State Route 322 for a cracked windshield and no front license plate.

Espada-Rodriguez, 22, allegedly punched the deputies during what police called a “roadside struggle.” She was arrested and charged with assault, obstructing government administration, and resisting arrest, along with traffic violations.

Police said the deputies’ injuries were minor.
