Defying the odds: Katy Eberts walks runway at ROC the Runway Fashion Show

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — After being told she would never walk again, Rochester musician Katy Eberts defied the odds at Saturday’s ROC the Runway Fashion Show.

Eberts is known as one of the members of the local Fleetwood Mac tribute band “The Seven Wonders.” She was involved in a crash back in 2023 which also injured two others in the vehicle.

Since the crash, Eberts has consciously posted encouraging messages to Facebook throughout her recovery journey.

Back in June, she shared a video of her walking with a cane. Captions appeared throughout the video such as “Always Keep Pushing,” “One foot in front of the other,” and “Just breathe.”
