    Fire breaks out at house on Oriole Street

    ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) – Firefighters in Rochester are investigating a fire that broke out at a vacant house on Oriole Street near Glenwood Avenue in Rochester early Saturday morning. Firefighters saw heavy fire on the first and second floors of the house when they arrived shortly before 5:30 a.m.

    Firefighters say the fire caused significant damage to the first and second floors, basement, roof and attic. RG&E crews responded to secure the gas and electric to the house.

    Firefighters spent approximately 40 minutes placing the fire under control. No firefighter or civilian were injured in the fire.
