ICC Prosecutor Requests Arrest Warrants for Israeli PM Netanyahu, Leaders of Hamas

Karim Khan, a prosecutor for the International Crimimal Court, told CNN in an interview that he is seeking an arrest warrant for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. The court is also seeking an arrest warrant for the leader of Hamas in Gaza, Yahya Sinwar, as well as other Hamas leaders. Khan said he seeks to charge Netanyahu with both war crimes, as well as crimes against humanity. He said he also wants to charge Israeli's Defense Minister, Yoav Gallant. Israel is not a member of the ICC. President Biden called it "outrageous" for the ICC to want to arrest Netanyahu and charge him with war crimes.
