I’ve been on Kempner water for about 12 years. I’ve lived in 5 states, and NEVER had issues with water until I moved to Kempner. This is a constant, ongoing problem. Sometimes we’ve gone days without water, and threatened with fines, and rate hikes for using more water than the water company deems necessary. I use what I need, no more, no less. It’s almost a daily thing to receive messages saying, boil your water. Can someone please explain how you boil water to shower? I have no tub. Our water is already high, now we’re taking that price higher every day, because we have to boil, and buy drinkable water. A rate increase to make repairs, or set their system straight, isn’t fair in any way, shape, or form, to have customers pay that bill. Some can’t afford an increase, but here you go. I’m getting ready to retire, and move. I’m definitely moving out of the area, to somewhere that doesn’t have Kempner water. I’ll be so glad to be off their system.
