SLO city police arrest man for drug charges at Madonna Road apartments

SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. – San Luis Obispo City Police arrested a man Friday for drug possession after stalking the Madonna Road apartments the day prior.

SLO City Police Department officers called a shelter-in-place due to an armed man at the Madonna Road apartments around 4:30 p.m. Thursday.

The man was previously arrested for weapon charges on July 1 this year and out of caution, residents were asked to shelter in place while police searched for him, according to the SLO City PD.

SLO City PD officers could not locate the man with a handgun who was a former apartment resident and will continue to investigate this incident and monitor the area.

The SLO City PD also asks those with information on the investigation to call their number .

this happened in July I was thinking it was together incident at the time of our apartment they're talking about what it already happened I know people who live there that's scary to know how close to home this is to us I know the guy barricade himself in the apartment not knowing that he wasn't a threat to anybody but himself I believe he just had a nervous breakdown then on top of it before that they had a fire in one of the apartments I hope the guys getting the help he needs though the help to understand what he's going through and why he did what he did thank goodness nobody got injured even him I don't wish death on my worst enemy I like seeing people being saved from a tragedy that they put themselves in cuz a lot of times people just need help with what they're going through
