TAKE 5 top-prize ticket sold in Binghamton

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. (WIVT/WBGH) — A Sunday evening drawing of the New York Lottery TAKE 5 resulted in a winning ticket coming from a local Binghamton market.

Quality Market on Vestal Avenue in Binghamton sold the $7,609 prize-winning ticket that was read at 10:30 p.m. Sunday, May 12. Other winning tickets came from Brooklyn, College Point and Ulster Park.

TAKE 5 numbers are drawn from a field of one through 39. The drawing is televised twice daily at 2:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. A Lottery draw game prize of any amount may be claimed up to one year from the date of the drawing.
