    Memorial Day Parade back in Binghamton after 4 years

    BINGHAMTON, N.Y. (WIVT/WBGH) — The Veterans of Foreign Wars have announced the return of the Binghamton Memorial Day Parade after four years of waiting.

    The parade will begin at the American Legion Post 80 on Main Street on May 27 at 12:30 p.m. The parade will continue down towards the courthouse, emceed by Broome County Clerk, Joseph Mihalko.

    Participants of the first parade in years include Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 478, American Legion Post 80, American Legion Post 1645, Disabled American Veterans Chapter 60, American Legion Riders, American Red Cross, local dignitaries, Broome County Sheriff’s Office, Binghamton High School Band, Triple Cities Choppers, Binghamton Fire Department, Twin Tiers Mustang Club, BC Corvette Club, the Leathernecks, Combat Veterans MC Club, the Punishers, the Guardians, Mid-State Miata Club, and the Rumble Ponies.

    about time we have had a parade for everything since the COVID stopped but many of them are not important as the vets and four of July
