Bearcats postseason opener postponed to Thursday

VESTAL, N.Y. (WIVT/WBGH) – The Binghamton University Baseball team will have to wait until Thursday to open their postseason, their game against NJIT in the opening round of the America East playoffs was postponed due to weather.

The Bearcats enter as the 6 seed in the tournament, facing the #3 Highlanders in this single elimination game to start the playoffs.

The winner advances to the double elimination part of the tournament that will begin immediately after the Binghamton vs NJIT game on Thursday.

Play begins between Binghamton and the Highlanders at 11 a.m. from the Bearcats Baseball Complex.
