Flag raised to recognize Security Mutual Life Week

BINGHAMTON, NY (WIVT/WBGH) – The City of Binghamton raised the Security Mutual Life flag high above City Hall, and dedicated next week as Security Mutual Life Week.

Binghamton Mayor Jared Kraham held a news conference to proclaim June 3rd through the 7th as Security Mutual Life Week throughout the City of Binghamton.

Kraham also highlighted Security Mutual’s annual effort to beautify Downtown Binghamton by installing hanging flower baskets around the city.

This year, the baskets flower baskets are coming from Nanticoke Gardens.

Security Mutual also used the news conference to promote its upcoming concert to raise funds for Sock Out Cancer.

The concert will feature former singer with the band Journey, Kevin Chalfant, along with The Voice contestant, Alyssa Crosby.

The concert will take place on October 19th at the Forum Theatre and tickets are 35 dollars a piece.
