Dunkin’ hosts grand reopening at Apalachin location

APALACHIN, N.Y. (WIVT/WBGH) – The newly remodeled Dunkin’ Donuts in Apalachin was handing out free coffee and prizes to celebrate its official grand re-opening.

The Dunkin’ Donuts off of State Route 434 in Apalachin was torn down in March and completely rebuilt. The store officially reopened on Tuesday with a ribbon cutting and was giving out free hot or iced coffee until 1 this afternoon.

Customers were invited to spin the prize wheel and win some Dunkin’ merchandise.

One of the store’s new features is a tap system, which offers a variety of cold beverages on tap.

The store franchisee, Santina Christian encourages everyone to pull off of 434 next time to get the chance and see the updated space.

“So, Apalachin runs on Dunkin’. We love our community, we love our locals, we love all the travelers that come through. So, we just hope you guys come, check us out, see the new building, see all of the happy faces, let us know how we’re doing and hope you guys enjoy,” said Christian.

The Dunkin’ has a drive through window and features a mobile pickup option inside.

During today’s re-opening, the store made a $1,000 donation to Tioga Open Door Mission and Pantry.

The new Dunkin’ is located at 7858 State Route 434 in Apalachin.
