Tioga Downs donates $95k to Southern Tier Veterans Support Group

NICHOLS, N.Y. (WIVT/WBGH) – Ahead of a country music star’s concert this weekend, Tioga Downs presented a check for over $95,000.

Tioga Downs Casino and Resort, and its Chairman, Jeff Gural presented a $95,680 check to members of the Southern Tier Veterans Support Group.

The money was raised through the ticket sales from the Night Ranger concert in July, which was then matched by Gural.

The veterans support group connects local veterans with resources and services, such as navigating health care or employment tools.
