BINGHAMTON, N.Y. (WIVT/WBGH) – A festival that uses art and music to warn the public about the dangers of climate change is taking action for a second year.

Binghamton 2 Degrees will be held tomorrow at Confluence Park in Binghamton. It is an initiative from a Binghamton University Professor that highlights local temperature increases.

The festival will celebrate the beauty of Greater Binghamton while connecting members of the community and educating them on how to preserve its natural features.

Those in attendance will be able to enjoy several activities such as participatory art, storytelling, and painting. There will also be several performances from local musicians and participation from local artists.

The festival will take place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
