VESTAL, NY (WIVT/WBGH) — The Blaze Pizza on the Vestal Parkway has closed. Blaze opened on April 26, 2018 and was known for offering individual pizzas made to order.

Workers are currently at the site clearing out the tables and fixtures in advance of a Dave’s Hot Chicken moving into the site at 3714 Vestal Parkway East.

Dave’s was founded in East Hollywood, California in 2017 and is known for its spicy chicken tenders.  The closest Dave’s Hot Chicken to Greater Binghamton is in Cicero outside of Syracuse.

A worker clearing the former Blaze site tells News 34 that Dave’s is expected to open next March.
