Crime victim memorial planned for Round Top Park in Endicott

ENDICOTT, NY – (WIVT/WBGH) A new memorial to victims of crime is being erected in Endicott with the help of a local Eagle Scout.

Broome County is planning a groundbreaking ceremony Wednesday at Round Top Park to begin construction of a crime victims memorial.

County Executive Jason Garnar will be joined by Parks Director Brenda Gowe, District Attorney Paul Battisti, the Executive Director of the Crime Victims Assistance Center Christine Battisti and Eagle Scout Schyler Savage.

Round Top is a Broome County Park with shelters to rent at the top of a hill with beautiful views of the valley below.
