Ribbon cutting celebrates Raptor Pack Contracting

OWEGO, NY (WIVT/WBGH) – The Tioga County Chamber held a picnic at Hickories Park in Owego, to celebrate the work of a new group of contractors.

Friends, family members and customers of Raptor Pack Contracting gathered in Owego this morning for a ribbon cutting ceremony.

The business was started two years ago in Barton, by the CEO, Thomas Apker, who has 15 years of contracting experience.

Raptor Pack offers roofing services, siding, decks, and anything else you may need done to your house, both inside and out.

Apker says he named the business Raptor Pack Contracting because his employees and customers work together as a team.

“Every customer that I have ever gotten and dealt with, some of them are here because they’ve treated me like family and I treat them like family. I’m not worried about the money, it’s not about the money, it’s about the principle. About how I’m serving the community and trying to master my craft,” says Apker.

Apker says all of their projects come with a minimum, one year warranty.

He says since joining the Better Business Bureau and the Tioga County Chamber of Commerce, he’s been busier than ever.

Raptor Pack does work all around the Southern Tier.
