BINGHAMTON, N.Y. (WIVT/WBGH) – Members of Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernations are inviting the community to enjoy them for a lively party as they raise money for a local charity.

LAOH is hosting its 20th Annual Half-way to St. Patrick’s Day Hooley on Friday at the American Legion Post 1645, located at 177 Robinson Street in Binghamton. The celebration will include entertainment, various raffles, food, drinks, and more.

The Hooley was started by Kathryn Cronin, who unfortunately passed away in August. The event will be held in her honor.

There will be a 50/50 raffle. Proceeds will be donated to I Can Ride. The nonprofit organization offers alternate therapeutic and recreational services to at risk, special needs individuals and veterans in our area. Tickets are $2 each and the drawing will be held at the end of the night.

Entertainment will be provided by The Shambles, Edward P Maloney Memorial Pipe Band, and the Carle School of Irish Dance.

The event will be held from 6 to 10 p.m.

Tickets are $15 in advance, $18 at the door for guests over the age of 18. Tickets for those between the ages of 6 to 17 are $5 and children under 5 are free.

For tickets, call (607)727-2262 or visit AOH Hall, Abel’s Pub, or American Legion 1645.
