Harbor Freight Tools opening Binghamton location

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. (WIVT/WBGH) – Handy men and women will soon be able to purchase their tools and materials at a new Binghamton hardware store

Harbor Freight Tools is opening a new location at 1272 Upper Front Street in Binghamton. The store will open this fall with an official opening date to be announced.

Construction has already begun, using local workers and companies from the surrounding Greater Binghamton area. The store is expected to bring in between 25 and 30 new jobs.

“We’ve been looking to open a location in Binghamton for a number of years so that we can provide the tools and equipment at tremendous values to the community,” said Trey Feiler, Senior Vice President, Real Estate and Construction for Harbor Freight Tools. “In additional to finding a great location we were attracted by the availability of great Associates in the Binghamton area, and we look forward to having them join the Harbor Freight team.”
