Vestal High School hosting annual marching band competition

VESTAL, N.Y. (WIVT/WBGH) – The Vestal High School Marching Band is getting ready to host its annual home competition.

Vestal is hosting The Golden Circle of Bands on September 28 at Dick Hoover Stadium. The New York State Field Band Conference competition will begin at 5 p.m. will bands taking the field at 6.

Vestal will welcome six high school bands from Union-Endicott, Horseheads, Johnson City, Norwich, Corning-Painted Post, and Kingston. This year’s show theme is “primary”.

Vestal Marching Bands, with Drum Majors Keira DeVanier and Susie Hirst, will take the field at 6:39 p.m.

Tickets are $12 at the gate and $10 for students and senior citizens. Children under 5 can attend for free.
