"As we ramp up our efforts to discover new treatments for the most challenging diseases, we are committed to investing in cutting-edge infrastructure to support our expanding pipeline," stated David A. Ricks, Lilly's chair and CEO. "This new facility will not only provide high-quality medicines for our clinical trials but will also enhance our process development and manufacturing capabilities, allowing us to deliver next-generation therapies to patients globally more efficiently."

The State of Indiana will assist with infrastructure enhancements for roads, water, electricity, and other utilities at the new site. Additionally, the state will provide economic incentives linked to Lilly's investment and employment objectives in Lebanon.

"Lilly's growing investment in Indiana is generating significant new job opportunities for Hoosiers," remarked Indiana Secretary of Commerce David Rosenberg. "The LEAP district in Lebanon is rapidly emerging as an international hub, with $18 billion in committed capital investment across 2,300 acres since its inception in 2022. LEAP and the Hardtech Corridor are drawing global leaders, talent, and innovation to Indiana."
