    Ottawa County voters will decide these county office races Nov. 5

    Ottawa County voters will have a few county races to decide Nov. 5.

    Voters will be asked to decide for county commissioner and county recorder.

    For the county commissioner term starting Jan. 2, incumbent Republican Mark Stahl, of Williston, is facing Democrat Lori Brikmanis, of Oak Harbor, according to information from the Ottawa County Board of Elections .

    Mark Coppeler, incumbent county commissioner from Port Clinton, is unopposed.

    In the race for county recorder, incumbent Republican Nathan Daniels, of Curtice, faces Democrat Curt Fleming, of Port Clinton.

    Other incumbents without challengers include Clerk of Court John Klaehn, of Marblehead.

    No candidate is listed running for county coroner.

    Ron Lajti Jr., Graytown, an independent candidate and incumbent, is seeking re-election as county engineer.

    Republican County Prosecutor James VanEerten, of Marblehead, is unopposed.

    Sheriff Stephen Levorchick, a Republican from Port Clinton, also is unopposed, as is Republican Anthony Hatmaker, of Port Clinton, who is seeking re-election as treasurer.
