Notebook: Loudon thrashes Greenback in season opener

It was a true David versus Goliath matchup for two Loudon County schools as Greenback football visited the Loudon Redskins to kick off their season Friday night at Dukes Field.

The Cherokees knew that putting up a fight against Loudon would be an uphill battle with limited numbers and with several new faces. Meanwhile Loudon came into the bout with confidence and were ready to debut their skills.
