Panthers open up season with resounding win over South-Doyle

The Lenoir City football team officially began a new era in its program’s history under first-year head coach Scott Cummings Friday night, Aug. 23, against South-Doyle High School.

For Cummings, it was as good a debut as any as the Panthers sailed to a 41-0 shutout victory over the Cherokees.
