Just after midnight on June 17, 2024, Shreveport Police officers responded to a call regarding an assault and battery in the 3100 block of Woodlawn Avenue. Upon arrival, officers arrested 48-year-old Michelle Mitchell, who had stabbed a household member with a knife during the incident.

During the investigation, officers arrested 25-year-old LaQuinta Robinson, who was found to have outstanding warrants for resisting an officer, interfering with law enforcement investigation, no driver's license, and multiple traffic violations.
