A federal judge in Texas has issued a temporary order preventing border patrol agents from damaging or removing the razor wire fence that Texas installed along the U.S-Mexico border. The ruling comes in response to a lawsuit filed by Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton against the Department of Homeland Security. The judge's order allows an exception for cutting the wiring in the case of a medical emergency that could lead to serious bodily injury or death. The temporary order is set to expire on November 13, with a hearing scheduled for November 7 to consider a further temporary injunction.

    Key Points:

    1. A federal judge in Texas has temporarily barred border patrol agents from damaging or removing Texas-installed razor wire along the U.S-Mexico border.
    2. Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton filed the lawsuit against the Department of Homeland Security, accusing border patrol agents of illegally destroying state property.
    3. The order permits the cutting of razor wire for medical emergencies posing a significant risk to individuals' lives.
    4. The temporary order is valid until November 13, with a hearing on a potential temporary injunction scheduled for November 7.
    5. The lawsuit includes photos of border patrol agents using a forklift to remove the razor wire and a sworn statement from a Texas Military Department employee, who witnessed the removal and noted that agents lacked permission.
    6. The Department of Homeland Security has pledged to comply with the court's order.

Why did the Texas national guard and Texas law enforcement not arrest the border guards for destroying state equipment? Texas should had confiscated all tools and truck ASAP.
