    LVMPD asking for help to find car in fatal hit and run

    Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) – Las Vegas metro Police are asking for the public’s help to find a driver involved in a fatal auto-pedestrian accident late last month.

    The incident happened near Nellis and Harmon in the early morning hours of August 28th. Police say that a man who had been stabbed in a nearby neighborhood ran out on to Nellis and was hit by an orange Dodge Challenger.

    Police say the impact knocked the front bumper off of the car. They say the driver of the car picked up the bumper, then drive off, and hasn’t been seen since.

    The man who was struck died at the scene.

    The car being sought is an orange 2015 Dodge Challenger bearing California plates 8MFG144.
