Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) – Las Vegas Metro Police say they’ve arrested a suspect they say was the driver in a fatal auto-pedestrian hit and run from late August.

Police were first called to the area of Nellis and Harmon just after 3am on the morning of August 28 th and found a victim dead in the street.

Investigators say they believe the victim had been stabbed and ran onto Nellis Boulevard to escape his

The driver of the Challenger stopped at the scene to remove a damaged front bumper, then left the area.

On Monday, Metro said that they had arrested 31-year-old Ayanna Lillard, saying she was the driver of the Challenger that fled. Additional details surrounding Lillard’s arrest were not released.

Anyone with additional information is urged to call the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department’s Collision Investigation Section at (702) 828-3595 or, to remain anonymous, call Crime Stoppers at (702) 385-5555, visit www.CrimeStoppersOfNV.com or use the mobile app “P3.” Message and Data rates may apply.
