    MARTINSBURG, WV - Renters looking in West Virginia's Eastern Panhandle will find Martinsburg more affordable than Charles Town, according to the latest Zillow Rentals Data.

    The median rent for all property types and bedrooms in Martinsburg is $1,790, a significant $360 less than Charles Town’s median rent of $2,150.

    According to Zillow Rentals Data, Martinsburg has experienced a more substantial month-over-month increase, with rents rising by $140, compared to Charles Town’s $50 increase.

    Over the past year, Martinsburg’s rent has increased by $90, whereas Charles Town's rent has seen a $50 hike.

    Despite the recent increases, Martinsburg remains a cheaper option. The area also offers more rental availability, with 53 properties listed, compared to 31 in Charles Town, according to Zillow Rentals Data.

    For those weighing their options in this region, Martinsburg presents a more budget-friendly choice with a wider range of rental opportunities, making it an attractive option for prospective tenants looking to save on housing costs.
