INWOOD, WV - A popular gas station and convenience store chain, WaWa, is set to open its first West Virginia location in Berkeley County.

The new store will be situated in Inwood, bringing the well-known brand from New Jersey and the northeast to the Mountain State.

WaWa’s new store will be part of Butler's Crossing, a new shopping center currently under construction.

The shopping center’s anchor store, Food Lion, is already completed and open for business, paving the way for WaWa and other establishments to follow suit, according to Thur Retail.

Located conveniently close to I-81, the new shopping center aims to serve both local residents and travelers, offering easy access and a variety of shopping options, according to Thur Retail.

The addition of WaWa is expected to attract considerable attention due to the chain's popularity and reputation for quality service.

The opening date for the Inwood WaWa has been set for August 14, marking a significant milestone for the company as it expands into West Virginia, according to WaWa.

More details about WaWa and its offerings can be found on their official website.
