WINCHESTER, VA - Buc-ee’s, the Texas-based convenience store chain known for its massive travel centers, is expanding its presence in Virginia with a new location in Rockingham County.

According to S.L. Nusbaum Realty, Buc-ee’s Mt. Crawford, LLC has purchased a 21.30-acre property at the intersection of I-81 and Route 681 (Friedens Church Road) for $6,581,753.30 from Lispen LLC.

According to S.L. Nusbaum Realty, Nathan Shor and Larry Agnew represented the buyer in this significant transaction, with Shor serving as the Exclusive Buyer Representative for Buc-ee’s in Virginia.

The upcoming Buc-ee’s Super Center will feature up to 75,000 square feet of retail space, 120 fueling positions, multiple electric vehicle (EV) chargers, and parking for over 650 vehicles, including dedicated spaces for buses and RVs, according to S.L. Nusbaum Realty.

This new location marks the second Buc-ee’s in Virginia, as the company plans to open a total of four stores in the Commonwealth over the coming years.

The chain, which has gained popularity for its expansive stores and unique offerings, has opened more than 25 Super Centers across the South over the past two decades.

Overpriced food and other items! Go to Walmart to get food! I stopped at one of them and only used the restroom…didn’t buy anything! Too pricey for fountain drinks.
