LANSING, MI - As Buc-ee's continues its expansion across the United States, Michigan presents several strategic and logical locations for the iconic travel center chain. Known for its massive stores, plentiful fuel pumps, and unique snacks, Buc-ee's could find a receptive market in the Great Lakes State.

One prime location is along the I-94 corridor near Kalamazoo or Battle Creek.

According to the Southeast Michigan Council of Governments, this stretch connects Chicago to Detroit and sees a steady flow of traffic from commuters, tourists, and long-haul truckers.

A Buc-ee's along this route would provide a convenient stop for travelers, capitalizing on high traffic volume and proximity to major cities.

The I-75 corridor near Flint or Saginaw is another potential site.

According to the Southeast Michigan Council of Governments, it is a major north-south route that runs from Detroit to the Upper Peninsula, I-75 serves as a key artery for travelers heading to popular destinations like Mackinac Island and northern Michigan’s vacation spots.

A Buc-ee's in this area would attract both local residents and tourists.

Northern Michigan, particularly around Gaylord or Grayling, could also benefit from a Buc-ee's location.

These areas are popular with outdoor enthusiasts and serve as gateways to the state's numerous lakes and parks, making them ideal spots for a Buc-ee's that could serve travelers heading further north.

These locations highlight Michigan’s potential for welcoming Buc-ee's, providing convenient stops for travelers and adding a unique retail experience to the state’s roadside landscape.
